Landfill gas is a source of energy which can be used for electricity and heat production. Electricity and heat can be produced in quantities sucient for self-utilization, becoming self-sustainable and not using any external resources. They can also be used to produce bigger quantities, which can afterwards be sold to the grid or to local beneficiaries.

A thorough understanding of the customer and their energy needs, as well as a careful analysis of the landfill gas forms the basis of any cogeneration project. Based on that, we first select the most appropriate generator set from a wide range of options. From this we engineer and build conditioning units that remove humidity, as well as contaminants such as sulfur and siloxanes before the generator set.
In order to deliver a true turnkey energy generation unit, we also take care of the heat recovery solutions, controls & electronics and customer process integration.
